We initially wanted a hoist but our garage couldn’t accommodate one. We researched the various lift options and went with the EZ4x4 lift. Yes, it’s expensive. However, the materials are very sturdy. Every part has a specific function. The written installation instructions are a bit challenging, but when coupled with the installation video (there is a scan code for the video on the first page), installation was relatively easy.
I put it together by myself without much of an issue. As far as using the loft, it works exactly as intended. It’s a bit tricky lining up the guide pins to the guide pin holes when you put the hard top back on, but it gets easier with practice. The crank makes it really easy to loft and lower the hard top. I love the fold up option as I have limited space in my garage. Yes, you can actually put the whole thing in the trunk and take it with you if you so choose. Excellent product!
Exceeded expectations! Very happy with my choice and will be purchasing more products for my Bronco!
Im only reviewing the instructions and assembly.
The instructions are very minimal and you have tobwatch the video along with it, and it is still terrible. The guy in the video is terrible explaining things, doesn’t say which parts sometimes and left off some parts without explanation.
I just piled it all in my garage until I can get a mechanic or engineer to help.
I would not have ordered this and wish I hadn’t.
