Tubular Bed Extenders are OK for things like motorcycles BUT if you are hauling materials like 2x8's in 10' sections you run the risk of things falling out the back of your truck, potentially loosing material or causing an accident.

We suggest them all of course however if you plan out packing things that will always reach the very top of the extender, skip the work space shelf. You can always add these options down the road as well.
